Ausserhalb der alten Stadtmauern wurden während der letzten 20 Jahre niedrige Häuser abgerissen und viele, hohe Appartementhäuser gebaut. Die Einwohnerzahl Antalyas hat sich verdreifacht. Ihr Flair hat die Stadt in ihrem alten Stadtkern trotzdem erhalten können. Outside the historic citywalls many small houses were torn down during the last twenty years and replaced by higher appartement buildings. The number of people living in Antalya has trippled in recent years. The old city however could retain its typical character.
