It was built by Vehbi Koç and opened in 1975. The hotel turned out to be unique because of its exceptionel location and its particuliar structure (its pattern is that of a Daimler star). One of its branches extends to a massive headformed cliff. All rooms in this part enjoy a magnificent panoramique view due to their diagonal grouping. Each has a balcony which stretches over its total width. Their balustrades are designed to allow a direct view over the glittering waters of the Mediterranean Sea and make your breakfast a first highlight of the new day. Modern architecture at its best! Vehbi Koc the mastermind of the whole complex visited the hotel regularly until he died. His presence and personal involvement ensured the pleasant, informal atmosphere.
